The Journeymen touring exhibition launched in Ashington last month, with a successful run at Hirst Pavilion in Ashington.

Across six days, visitors were invited to share the stories of five groups of local men, who came together to share their own unique journeys in South East Northumberland.

From intimate portraits and peach melbas, to reflective animations and Syrian poetry, the exhibition certainly got people thinking, and talking.

Across the weekend, many families also enjoyed trying their hand at photography, graffiti and crafts at the free workshops.

You can catch the exhibition at its next venue - Headway Arts in Blyth, on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October 2019. There’re also free workshops taking place – find out more here.

Thanks to the Men Behind the Lens photography group and Jason Thompson for documenting the event.
